Keeping The Kiddos Safe in Public

At Roller Cave, we take pride in providing a clean, fun and safe environment for children, but not everyone wants to protect your children like we do. So, we’ve put together a short list of tips that’ll help with keeping your children safe in public places with large crowds.

Hand their hand. – Don’t walk ahead of small children that can not keep up. Remember, if only takes a second for a toddler to wander away.

Stranger danger. – Make sure your children know not to walk away with strangers. This will cut down on the chances of your child walking away with someone they don’t know.

Make sure they know who they are. – When your child is old enough to understand, practice their full name, address and phone number with them to ensure that if they ever needed help that they could be helped.

Keep an eye on them. – Never leave a child unsupervised in a public place. This includes play areas and rolling around the rink, even if they’re with other children. This is a recipe for disaster.

Have a family safe spot. – In crowded places, it’s a good idea to have a designated safe place to gather if the family gets separated. Make sure your kiddo knows where the safe place is and to go there if they get lost.

Following these steps will help with keeping your children safe while having fun at our facility and later in life. For more information about Roller Cave, visit our website or give us a call at 317-898-1817. Have you made memories at Roller Cave?
