Learn to Skate at The Roller Cave

At what point do we stop learning? As we grow up we learn how to do so much. We learn how to read, how to write and how to swim. We all go through the terror of learning how to ride a bike or roller-skate. At The Roller Cave we are committed to teaching all ages and skill levels how to up their skating game no matter their current standing.

Roller Skates

Our skating lesson rates vary depending on the time that you learn. You can either learn during our times that are open to the public, or during a private session. Our expert instructors can help the most novice skaters stay on two skates, or our most advanced skaters learn to skate in competitions. If learning is what you want, we are the place for you.

Our skating rink is state of the art and we offer much more than just a circle to skate in. We offer a good time on top of a nice rink. You are certain to listen to good music and will witness some of the best skating you have ever seen in person. If excelling is what you desire, you are certain to experience that here.

As you explore your options for this summer’s activities, consider spending your time at Roller Cave. We will teach anybody, no matter his or her skill level. If casual skating and practice is more of your thing, we still offer public hours where you can come and experience our wonderful skating rink and other activities.

Be The Ball

This is a saying that I’m sure you have heard, but we want to provide an explanation. Be the ball is all about envisioning what you want the ball to do. They say that baseball and softball are extremely mental sports. This step is important. If you think about where you want the ball to go, your muscle memory will kick in and help lead the different parts of your body into the perfect swing.

Repetitions

The word repetition directly translates to practice. The more you do something, the closer you are to it becoming a habit. At the Bat Cave, you pay one price and can use the batting cages for the rest of the day. You must continue with swing after swing. It is only after practice that you can become a pro.

Have Confidence

Confidence is key. This is another saying that doesn’t mean much without context. One of the deadliest weapons out there is doubt. The mind is very strong and can easily be convinced to think certain things. If you doubt that you can do something, you most likely will not be able to do it. If you believe in yourself and have confidence that you can do something, you likely will!

Take Advice

Learning is very important. People have advice that they can offer that you can likely use. If you want to become a pro, you should ask for advice from a coach or successful batter.

Fix Your Weaknesses

Something that is very important is that you recognize your weaknesses. When you know you are doing something wrong, you have to fix it so that negative thing does not become a habit when you continue practicing.
