Your dad has always been there for you. From skinned knees to late-night calls when you need advice, your dad is the best. Check out some ways to honor him this Father’s Day! 

1. Celebrate His Love Of Family

For those who have small children, try this new twist on a traditional tie! Buy a solid white tie and have your kids either put their hand print or write short sayings on the tie. Dad will love it, even if he does not normally wear ties!

2. Celebrate His Hobbies

Does your dad love to fish? Bowl? Roller Skate? Whatever your dad loves to do when he is not working, celebrate that! Buy him a subscription to a fishing magazine, or rent out a bowling alley for a night. Spend an evening with him doing whatever he loves and he will appreciate the time, thought, and effort you put into it!

3. Celebrate His Love Of Fitness

This weekend, we are celebrating all dads by giving them FREE admission to Roller Cave! If your dad loves to do physical activity, we definitely recommend bringing him this weekend! If he cannot make it this weekend, bring him to Roller Cave any weekend! We always have great events and specials!

4. Celebrate The Times You Had Together

Recreate a special memory you and your dad shared that he may not remember. Especially if you are out of the house, this could be a very special way to honor your dad this Father’s Day.

The kiddos are on summer break, the weather is warmer, and everyone seems to be less stressed during the summer months. Not only that, but summer is a great time to learn a new skill such as roller skating, or baseball, and a great time to just enjoy life. June 9th, 10th, and 11th: First up, we are celebrating National Candy Month with FREE candy included with every paid admission. This should satisfy your sweet tooth.

June 16th, 17th, and 18th: We want to honor all of the fathers out there by celebrating them the weekend of Father’s Day. All dads get FREE admission Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and Skate rental is only $3.00!

July 1st and 2nd: We are celebrating National Hot Dog Month with one free hot dog with paid admission

July 24th and 25th: It is Brickyard Race Party Weekend, with tons of cool things to do at the Cave!

Here at The Roller Cave in Indianapolis Indiana, we love watching the faces of young and young at heart glide around our rink. The look of sheer joy brings a smile to our faces. Often times, however, people’s roller skates become worn, or in the case of our young guests, become too small and new ones are a necessity. We are proud to provide skate replacements via our Roller Cave Skate Shop, but want to educate those torn if it is time for the investment by providing telltale signs that it is time for new skates.

1. If your roller skate has a visible deformity: This one is pretty obvious, but if all of your wheels have cracks in them, your toe stopper has a chunk out of it, or the leather on your skate has a hole, it may be time for new skates. You could replace the individual parts with the wheels and toe stopper, but it will probably be just a short time before something else breaks, costing you more money in the long run.

2. If you have outgrown your roller skates: As previously mentioned, this generally happens with our young skaters whose bodies are still growing. If your feet have outgrown your skates, it is time for new ones. Fit is very important, and one of our staff members will help you, if needed.

3. If your skates are lost or stolen: There is no better time than when you literally do not have roller skates, to buy new roller skates. Whether you left them somewhere accidentally or someone actually stole your skates, come by the Skate Shop to pick out your brand new ones!

Can you believe it is almost the end of April? Here at Roller Cave in Indianapolis Indiana, we are having a hard time believing it ourselves! This year is flying by, and it can feel like you are getting all twisted, so we thought we would celebrate just that! This weekend is Get Twisted Weekend at Roller Cave! 

What does getting twisted actually mean?

Getting twisted is a way to have fun, and be a little wacky at the same time. We will have twisted ring pops, slushies, a pretzel deal, and more! There will also be fun contests like the Twisted Clothes Contest. The winner will be the person who can clash the most! It will be a chance to let loose and have fun NOT fitting in!

On Sunday April 24th

After we get twisted, we will have our Christian Family Skate Party on Sunday April 24th from 6:30-9:00pm. It will be a time of good, clean fun and a great time to reconnect with your family.

As always, Roller Cave will have clean, safe, family friendly fun while embracing the core values on which the rink was founded. What in the world are we talking about? The internet, of course! The internet is so ingrained in every aspect of modern life, we rarely stop to think of a time we did not have it. One fantastic aspect of the internet is social media, meaning outlets like Facebook, Twitter, and Google+, and here at Roller Cave in Indianapolis, Indiana we wanted to pay tribute to these great social outlets by hosting a Get Social Weekend April 8th, 9th, and 10th!

“Swing batter, batter, batter…Miss batter, batter, batter!” It is that time of year again; it is baseball season! This is the time of year people dust off their cleats and hit the field. At Roller Cave in Indianapolis Indiana, we could not be more excited for this time of year, and we wanted to tell you about practicing your swing at our awesome batting cage, The BatCave!

What Does The BatCave Have To Offer?

Our nine indoor batting cages with fifteen machines are customizable. You can practice baseball, soft pitch softball, as well as fast pitch softball.

How Much Does It Cost?

We have very reasonable rates for individuals as well as groups. It is only $8 for unlimited swings, and do not forget it is rain or shine. Mix and match-all of the cages are open to you until closing time. Because we want all of our guests to have a chance to practice, all batters will rotate every nine pitches if there are others waiting. We offer group rates to groups of five or more, dropping the cost down to $6 per person! Our group rates do not end there! You can get: 5 Admissions for $30, 10 Admissions for $50, and 25 Admissions for $100!

How Can I Reserve Time?

While walk-ins are always welcome, we encourage you to reserve time if you are planning to use our batting cages. We just added two Bata baseball and softball combination pitching machine, capable of throwing curve ball and fastball pitches 35-100 mph! The third pro tunnel is a multi-use tunnel for live pitching and hitting drills including tee work & soft-toss.
